Report Builder is a stand-alone app, installed on your computer by you or an administrator. 


Prerequisites:

  • SQL Server Standard edition.
  • SSRS Services


Please follow the below steps to install SSRS report builder

 

Step-1: Download the report builder application from the below URL

               https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53613

Step-2: Right-click and select Run as Administrator the below window will open click on Next

 

Step-3: Select the agreed license terms and conditions and click on Next

 

     

Step-4: Select the Entire feature and click on Next

 

Step-5: Leave the Default target server as blank and click on Next


Step-6: Click on Install.

 

Step-7:Click on Finish to finish the installation.



Step-8: To Check the Report builder App installed, go to the start button search for "Report Builder" the below window will open.
